Illustrator/author/client Alexandra Boiger’s latest “She Persisted” book,“She Persisted Around the World” written again by Chelsea Clinton has just been added to her website. Go take a look! They have been doing some book signings together. This project continues to be such an inspiration for young girls and women, now all over the world! It is already translated into Spanish.

I’ve just finished moving/designing Jeff McWhinney Designs new site using the Shopify ecommerce platform. It looks great, and offers so many great tools for an online shop. I’ve been wanting to use their platform for a long time and finally it fit with this client. The product grid has a mouse over feature so customers can view the openable ring feature. I added a gallery app to the site in which you can create a pop-up with a Buy Now button. Since he has so many great happy customers who’ve shared their stories and fantastic wedding photos it is very engaging. In addition newlyweds can post their photos on Instagram, tagging them with #mcwhinneydesigns and then he can approve them to drop into his gallery feed. That is exciting! After working closely with Judith (co-owner) and Max Klein (wonderful back-end developer), and the staff at Full Belly Farm that work with CSA members, we designed and built out screens to launch a front-end sign-up area for their members. The next stage will include a password protected login area where members can manage their accounts through a clear and easy to use pathway accessible from the newly redesigned sub-site.
McWhinney Designs is growing fast. Entrepreneur Magazine just featured them in the April issue. Interest from their website has shown that men are interested in buying their hi-tech titanium men’s wedding rings online provided there is enough information, and quality photography. We’ve helped them produce new videos and recently added videos, order forms and pdf diagrams. Now they are receiving orders from as far away as England, Canada and Hawaii.
